Thank you Cleveland for voting us First Place for "Best
Wedding Cakes" on The
Fox 8 Hot list — 2009. This is our 2nd year in a row!
The White Flower Cake Shoppe has been voted as "Best
Cake Decorators 2007" by Cleveland
Magazine. Here's the article:
 "Eggs, flour, sugar, a spike of rum. In lesser hands, such
a list might yield a sad little 9-by-13-inch dessert and a tipsy baker.
But under the art-school-trained eyes of cake designers Lauren Bozich and
Marianne Carroll, simple ingredients become the stuff of whimsy: delicious
Louis Vuitton bags, LeBron's 22nd birthday cake (complete with a crown
covered in edible 24-karat gold), fantasy wedding displays of buttercream
art. The two women are the team in the kitchen at The White Flower Cake
Shoppe, which has barely been open six months. But the duo has already
cultivated legions of enthusiasts in their decade of working together,
and they're winning more by the day. We figured they'd balk at our request
for an authentic (and tasty) replica of the Terminal Tower. But they took
the assignment with zeal, and created a 3-foot-tall cake that's almost
too realistic to eat."

Food Network Cake Challenges
"Newlywed" Cake Challenge airs January
10th!
We went back for our 4th Cake Challenge
at the end of August. This time, Lauren bravely travelled to Denver by herself
to meet a mystery client and an untrained assistant for the show. See
Lauren on the Food Network "Newlywed" Cake Challenge premiering Sunday,
January 10th at 8 pm on the Food Network!
Our 3rd Cake Cake Challenge, a Horror Cake Challenge, aired October 25, 2009.
The 2nd Cake Challenge aired July 26th. This cake challenge featured our
